We’re hitting the road and heading to Bristol for our first ever Bristol pop up |
– Bristol & Yak!
A communal space where alongside our lovely Yaks we'll be collaborating with local artists, makers, and more on a mission to inspire and encourage people to shop better, and to repurpose, recycle, and repair their clothes.
Over the course of the month we’ll be hosting a load of great workshops and events, so be sure not to miss out!
About the space
Bristol & Yak is located in the heart of Stokes Croft, surrounded by independent businesses and vibrant eclectic street art that mean it’s deservedly earned a reputation as Bristol’s cultural and artistic hub. Inspired by their new neighbours, we've commissioned local artists to create their own murals for the space, bringing to our circularity message.
Inside, our latest organic dungarees and designs sit alongside our popular (Im)Perfect Yaks (Items with slight imperfections that are still perfectly wearable), while Bristol-based We Are Hairy People will be showcasing their amazing hand-painted creations. Customers can even drop off their old Lucy & Yak items in return for vouchers to spend in store. Find out more here.
Opening Times:
Monday to Saturday 10am - 6pm
Sunday 1pm - 5pm
So what’s on?
The pop up doubles up as a shop and an event space, with a number of workshops and performances planned throughout the month – everything from ‘Re:Yak’ repair workshops through to comedy with rising local star Abi Clarke: @wearehairypeople
